Geospatial Infrastructure Management Ecosystem (GeoIME Inc.) is a startup risk assessment software company aiming at resiliency to create safer infrastructures for a more reliable and better world. GeoIME determines the vulnerability, estimation of risk, and damage index (DI) of buildings and bridges for pre and post-earthquake disasters. It provides recommendations for strengthening and retrofitting infrastructures. It has potential in scalability and customization to other disasters and countries. For example, we developed Geospatial Rapid Visual Screening (GeoRVS) to evaluate the safety and risk estimation of rural buildings based on the Sichuan Province, China instruction code.
